Wipro GE Healthcare to Recruit up to 600 People in 2 Years

Recently, Wipro GE Healthcare announced to hire up to 600 people to enhance its marketing force in the next 2 years.

Wipro GE Healthcare (WGH) Managing Director V Raja statement about the hiring is quoted by - economictimes.indiatimes.com, an online news portal about business and economy, “We have been beefing up our distribution system. While we are already present in 300 out of the 600 districts across the country, now we are looking at having individuals who can directly sell products in those local areas.”

Further the news portal added his statement about the hiring, “In order do that the company will add 500 to 600 people in the next two years. These people will be hired for all front-end related activities such as marketing and sales and market research.”

In the next statement, “So, in the next three years there would be about 10-12 products, which have been designed and developed in India, launched for the local market. These are all parts of our plans to clock a turnover of USD one billion in the next five years.”

According to the news portal, “Last year the company had announced integration of all the stand-alone units and plants of GE Healthcare in India into a single entity. As part of the integration process GE Healthcare Life Sciences, GE Healthcare Medical Diagnostics and GE Medical Systems India came under the fold of Wipro GE Healthcare.”
