An Overview of Anna's Movement from August 16

Anna’s movement appeared as August revolution for second Indian Independence. He had announced for the movement on 28th July, 2011 when the Union Cabinet had approved Lokpal Bill with many modifications.

Anna Hazare had announced to start his movement from Delhi. So, Delhi cops arrested Anna Hazare early in the morning from his residence, Mayur Vihar. Team of Anna Hazare is also arrested from Raj Ghat.

The incident blew across the country. Thousands of people participated in the movement of Anna Hazare. They demonstrated against the government. Students, home guards, advocates and senior citizens came forward the support his movement very sincerely.

The whole situation created the biggest trouble for the Indian Government. People come forward for “Jail Bharo Andolan” from many parts of the country. Thousands of students came forward to support Anna Hazare at Chhatrasal Stadium.

Finally, Anna Hazare is sent to Tihar Jail. Now, people get angered. They gathered there. Seeing the gathering of people at Tihar Jail, government decided to release Anna. He got released but didn’t leave the jail campus.

Both houses of Parliament became the platform of debate after the statement of the Prime Minister against Anna Hazare on August 17, 2011.

Anna is still sited in the campus of Tihar Jail with the demand to continue his agitation in JP Park, Delhi. But the place has been charged by 144 acts. People are gathered to Tihar Jail to support Anna. Delhi Police have no way to solve the problem.
